In warm summer nights, sometimes noctilucae make the sea phosphorescent.

The woods with over 200 species. and hairs, frogs, toads, snails, dogs, cats.

A wide array of birds: hummingbirds, fork-tailed flycatchers, rufous, house sparrows, swallows, woodpeckers, seagulls, doves and pigeons, great kiskadees.

Family-friendly environment
Mar Dorado is mainly targeted to families; however, it also offers a separate area thought for people without children.

Maximum capacity: 100 tents
Even though the facilities and the space available would allow us to divide the land into more tent pitches, we chose to keep around each tent enough space in order to guarantee comfort for each camping group and respect for one another.

Seasons
Our busiest season is from January 15th to January 30th, specially the third weekend of January: make your reservations in advance!

Regarding the place
In order to keep the woods, we carry on a continuous plantation of 200 species each year, since each season our vegetation is deteriorated by wind, ants, snails. and visitors.

Keep in mind. cigarette butts take over 500 years to disintegrate.

As for your pets: We want to walk barefoot around the camp site; we don't want to find your pet's faeces.

The barbeque shed closes at 11 pm, and we like to listen to the birds singing. Please keep the music volume down.

In order to protect our environment, we ask you to divide your garbage into organic, plastic and glass.
